Title 24 Acceptance testing certification.

NLCAA is approved by the California Energy Commission (CEC) to implement the training and certification of Acceptance Test Technicians in order to serve a critically important function for ensuring high quality installation of energy efficiency lighting controls systems in California non-residential lighting.
As special inspectors, NLCAA, Inc. certified Acceptance Test Technicians work hand-in-hand with local building departments. Building departments are legally required to receive documentation Certified Acceptance signed by certified Acceptance Test Technician, Acceptance Test Contractor, and originator of forms before final occupancy can be issued of any building that requires mandatory lighting controls to show compliance with Title 24.

Non Residential Lighting Technician.

NLCAA will be presenting the installation, commissioning, and acceptance testing for Wattstopper DLM system covering both close and open loop sensors.

This course will help contractors to comply with the Building Energy Code pertaining to mandatory lighting controls. Understanding the installation, commissioning, and acceptance testing will reduce the cost of installation. It is important to attend this class in order to receive your final inspection.

Non-residential Lighting Technician Trainee Program is a seven month program designed to provide sufficient education in lighting technology, lighting controls, and safety. Majority of the classes will be online while the hands-on will be conducted at of our locations.
